We are a small homely residential home based in Hawarden, Deeside offering personal care and attention to our residents at all times. We offer long and short-term care and as a small independent care home we really do care about our residents. Our experienced staff are dedicated to making life as happy as possible.

We have 16 bedrooms, the majority with en-suite toilets, which are bright airy and well appointed. We take great care to make sure that our residents feel as much at home as possible. With only a maximum of 16 residents at any one time it is easier to create that family atmosphere.

We can support our residents with daily tasks such as personal care, showers, nutrition, hydrating, medication and accessing healthcare when needed. We are sensitive to the needs of all our residents and take care to ensure they are as happy as possible.

All residents have their own living accommodation but are also encouraged to use our communal areas to interact and build relationships with other residents. Personal items are encouraged to help them settle and make them feel at home.

We have regular activities such as hairdressing, pamper days, nail manicures etc. We can cater for special diets and have home cooked meals using locally sourced produce.

We are part of the community and local schools and nurseries make regular visits with the children being particular popular.

My mother has been in Sycamore Lodge for 18 months and in this time she has been looked after like a queen. They are wonderful in Sycamore I would recommend this home to anyone and I can’t thank all the staff enough for what they have done for my mam xx

My mother in law was at Sycamore Lodge and received wonderful care. The girls there were so lovely with her and generous with their time. Always sitting down for a chat with her and making sure she was comfortable. Meals were home cooked and substantial and she was always well fed. I could not have asked for a better place for her to be and will be forever grateful to them.
